Electronic Spreadsheets!


Today I constructed a pie and a bar graph using a 'Google Spreadsheet!
Firstly I entered my data in the first 2 columns.I then selected this information
and the graphic tools and I used customization so that I could change my title.

On Wednesday we went to Merc. We arrived at camp, we got all our staff out of the bus side.We saw all sorts of staff like giant ladders,a massive tree and rock climbing  wall but unfortunately we couldn't do it. We had to go inside of this building and put our staff in there after that a man showed us around we had to put our staff in the room.


After we went and did an activity. We had to hold pipes so that the ball can go through until it reached the bucket and fell into it. After that we got plenty of ropes for two people so that we could go around this type of bottle. We all came up with an idea. I had to go around the bottle meanwhile my partner and my class was standing I stopped it was the next person's turn then we kept on going until the rope was really tied around the bottle we all pulled as hard as we could without standing in the water and we got it out, it took for ages.


At the night time we played with some cards until it was nine o'clock because we had to have a shower. We played last card, I gave some cards to each person then we started. The first card was 3 of hearts. I put down my card three of clubs, I got lucky because I had all of the same cards and I said “Last cards.” When I said “Last card” the people that I played was shocked because not in  the second round people usually has different cards.Then it was my turn. I put down all 4s down then they continued.


The first day of camp was the best because we done cool activities to make our brain think even more.




   

Why Is Reading Important?


What do you think about reading?
Knowing how to read is really important because it can prepare you for everything in life and you can be a successful person. When you start to read you can increase your brain to think even more. You can read and discover heaps of ideas and big words. If you read a lot you can develop your reading skills and your thinking skills.

When you get a job you have to be a successful person in reading because if not you’ll never know if that job has of paper work there and you have to read them. So if I wasn’t a person that didn’t like to read I’ll start reading. Reading gives us information, reading helps us gain knowledge. The reason why we read every day is because it entertains ourselves.

People read fiction and nonfiction, fiction means those books are made up and nonfictions is real life events or true story. Books can bring us to a very scary place or it depends what kind of book you’re reading. People read and they work hard. When you read you could go to college, university and get a job, people get those things because they read in their daily lives.

Everybody wants to drive somewhere but you have to read the signs, if you don’t you might get lost,most importantly the stop sign because if we don’t stop we might cause an accident or we could die or get injured including the people that you had a accident with. Reading can be your key to unlock everything in life. When you write you have to go over your writing but you can’t because you can’t read it. When you go shopping you have to read the signs and if you can’t read the labels you don’t know where you’re going.

People can’t play any instruments because they can’t read the notes. Celebrities that are famous wouldn't be the artists they are without reading.

Cadbury caramel Eggs:
The writer very cleverly used the phrase Don't get court.’ At the beginning  
advertisement and he repeated it throughout the ad.

The writer has cleverly said “This little angel.” He said this so he could
make the audience think that the girl is innocent and she did nothing wrong.  

The writers says “The eggs are irresistible so hurry up before they’re all
sold so go and get one now.”                     

The writer tells us that the cadbury Creme egg taste like e.g Creamy milk,
creamy flowing yolk and you can’t resist the two chocolate layers.  

The writer Said that “if you don’t go to the shop’s now there will be none
left at the stores.

The writer said “You can’t resist the taste of the creamy cadbury egg and it has a double chocolate layer.

b. The olives from 2 trees fit into 1 bin.-(FALSE) 20/2=10

c. If they had to store all their harvested olives, Dave and Joan would need 1 200 bins.-12000/10=1200

Be Like This Man!


The Author has presented to me emotional about going to encourage people who have nothing. He/She has started with a man in the beginning, water spilt on him then he grabbed a dead plant to make it grow.

The author hased use a mother and a little girl who lives on the street so that they can get money for the little girl’s education. This grabs the audience attention because the man is compassionate and generous. At the end everybody changed because the man helped them. All the people that the man helped was happy.

The author cleverly repeated the same actions
and the man saw that there was a change in them because he has helped them .                             
              

The man has given his food to the dog. And at the end of the this ad the dog was loyal to it because the man has feed it and he feed as if the dog was his own dog.  

The author has made the man go around the town and help the people in need. This gets the audience to go and help the people who are poor homeless and who has no money to provide for their kids for education.

Do You Want Siblings?

LI: Write persuasive piece of writing using Ethos,Pathos and Logos.

Brothers and sisters are compassionate and thoughtful. They are like a friends, but better because when you are upset they are there for you and when you are in a situation they back you up.

Brothers and sisters should always stick up for each other. When you’re bored you can go outside and play with them. When they play with them they’re very physical. You love your sisters and brothers because when you are exhausted you can just go home and have a sleep and they can comfort you when your little. We always want to be with our siblings but we all know that we have to be separated when we grow up. We all go through a process of a human life. very cool life.    

Sometimes when you have little siblings they always want to go outside and play out in the sun and when it’s raining  there are little puddles and they like to play in it, it’s like a little pool to them. If we are sick our brothers and sisters are there for you. You can always rely on your brothers and sisters, we have to take care of them because they’re relying on us too

Having siblings are the BEST!
